Volunteer Procedures
Dear Volunteers,
We appreciate your willingness to serve and make a difference in the lives of the people at the Bread of Life Mission. The mission could not do its work without you.
To ensure you have the most meaningful volunteer experience possible and to maintain the safety and security of you and our guests, we ask that you read and abide by the following guidelines:
Please make sure to email volunteers@breadoflifemission.org if you are unable to come or if you anticipate being late. The mission depends upon your service, and we will be at a loss if you fail to arrive as scheduled.
Please sign in and get a badge and any other required items at the front desk at the beginning of each shift. Please sign out and return your badge at the front desk at the end of each shift.
Dress comfortably and modestly. Due to public health regulations and concerns, no shorts or open-toed shoes are permitted in the kitchen area.
As a standard safety and security precaution, we require the evening kitchen serving volunteers to bring one other person.
Please be flexible in changing situations. This can assist the operation to run smoothly and produce positive outcomes for everyone involved.
Professionally, conduct yourself at all times.
