Transition: Resident Volunteer Program

The Resident Volunteer Program (RV) is a transitional housing program (for men 18 years+) that provides stability and requires personal responsibility and accountability, while under the guidance of the Mission. During their stay at the Mission, RV's are assigned various housekeeping tasks, property maintenance, kitchen duties, Day Shelter operations, customer service to our guests, and front desk management. Many have full- or part-time work, and can save up money for independent living. Maximum stay is 18 months.

The Resident Volunteer Program provides:

HOUSING

Each man in the program is assigned a shared room. This dormitory-style system of sharing a room with another program member offers several benefits, a few of which are accountability and fellowship.

SUPPORT

During each phase of the program, there are regular group gatherings in which the men get together to fellowship and support one another on their journey towards their dreams. They work, worship, and commune together to encourage healthy living and productivity.

*Prospective LifeChange & Resident Volunteer program men must present valid state identification. No sex offenders will be considered for admission. No one who has an outstanding warrant or pending court date(s) will be considered.

We never refuse emergency services (day shelter, meals, clothing etc.) to anyone based on religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or ethnicity. Our Resident Volunteer Transitional Housing is available to all men, 18+, regardless of religion, race or ethnicity.
