Daily Meal Services

Prep Cook: Cook meals for people facing homelessness.
Meal Server: Help serve lunch or dinner.
Group Volunteering: Have your group come to volunteer monthly at the Mission.
Office Support Volunteer
Our development department needs an Office Assistant to help with a wide variety of administrative tasks such as:
• Helping with mailings and data management
• Social media and marketing

Clothing Area Volunteers
6,700 articles of clothing are distributed to our guests every year. With your help we would love to give away even more clothing! Click on the job titles below to read more about that opportunity.
Clothing Distribution Supervisor: Interacting with our guests and helping them find clothes that are right for them.
Clothing Assistant: Help organize the distribution rooms. Track the inventory so we know when we are low on certain types of clothes.

Holiday Volunteering

Care Kit Ministry
Care Kits are a great way for your group to serve the homeless community with tangible items that are desperately needed by our friends and neighbors on the streets in Pioneer Square. They include things like:
Non-Perishable Food, Bottled Water, Socks, Toothbrushes & Toothpaste and Essential Toiletries
Volunteering at the Mission
Each year the Bread of Life Mission serves over 121,000 meals, distributes 6,700 items of clothing and provides 40,100 nights of shelter. We could not do this without the support of our volunteer staff. Volunteering at the Mission is a great way to give back to the community and a very rewarding experience. We would love to have you join our team of dedicated volunteers.
How to Become a Volunteer
Look for the email from the Breadoflifemission.org. (Note: it could take up to 3 days to hear back from us.)
Once approved, visit our volunteer calendar and register for any opportunity that interests you.
